Participants will understand the value of financial competencies for public health and health professionals, including successful practices for being responsive to federal, state, local, and private foundation funders. Participants will be able to describe financial reporting frequencies, the financial ecosystem of their organization, and identify valuable considerations for personal financial growth.

  2. Define business development and finance-related funding activities.

  3. Describe financial requirements for public health program staff.

  4. Define financial tools to support your personal finances as a public health professional.
